✨ Overview of importance of non-synced vs synced menus
The way certain actions are completed may vary slightly depending on whether your Point Of Sale (POS) integration with me&u is synced or not.
- A POS sync is where information is automatically pulled into me&u from your POS. This ensures that important information is copied across. After the initial import, the menu sync mainly updates the prices and modifiers as those are the most fragile parts of any integration.
- A non-synced me&u menu will mean there are a few more steps involved when setting up your menu item and modifiers. We’ll make sure to explain these as we go!
✨ Let's begin
Firstly, we recommend knowing how your me&u menu is connected to your POS. Is it synced or non-synced?
If your venue uses any of the following POS, then your menu will be a synced. If your POS is not listed below or you’re on a different one, please refer to the non-sync steps in the following modules.
- Impos
- Square
- Revel
- Doshii (Bepoz, Impos, Ordermate)
- Lightspeed O (Kounta)
- Lightspeed K
- Shiji
- Triniteq
- Tevalis
- Epos Now
- Access
- Zonal
- Toast
