Is your kitchen team worried about me&u increasing the number of dockets?
Fear not! You can enable Order batching. This means orders are collated on the same table number so that they print on the same docket. You can adjust this batching time to suit your venue.
- Setting a longer batching time for food will combine food orders from one table, which will help customers receive their orders at the same time. This will also reduce the number of dockets in the kitchen, helping chefs to manage orders better.
- A short batching time for drinks allows drink orders to go to the bar quickly, helping to sell more drinks and increase your customer's spend per head.
You can adjust the batching times per item (not just per food/drink) by creating multiple batching groups.
For example:
Cocktails (select all cocktail items) 90sec
Beers (select all beers)10sec
Food 180sec
